What are GLP-1 peptides?
GLP-1s, or glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists, are a type of medication originally developed to help manage type 2 diabetes. They work by mimicking a natural hormone in your body that helps regulate blood sugar, appetite, and digestion. In recent years, GLP-1s have also been shown to support effective, sustainable weight loss by helping you feel full longer and reduce food cravings.
What are compouned GLP-1 peptide medications?
Compounded GLP-1 medications are custom-made by licensed compounding pharmacies based on a prescription from your doctor. They contain the same active ingredients as FDA-approved brand-name medications. However, it's important to know that compounded medications are not reviewed or approved by the FDA for safety, effectiveness, or quality.
Does insurance cover GLP-1 peptide medications?
Valley Trim does not accept insurance. However, we do accept HSA and offer industry-leading pricing to make treatment more accessible and help you stay on track with your weight loss goals. We offer several options for discounted pricing (see Pricing and Discount page).

How soon can I expect to see results?
